Based out of Duluth, MN, activist and singer-songwriter Rachael Kilgour has been captivating audiences for nearly ten years. With vulnerability, wit and a whole lot of passion, she effortlessly merges the personal and political and demonstrates an innate ability to inspire listeners of all backgrounds.

Kilgour has released two full-length albums and a three-song EP and has performed across the country in coffeehouses, concert series and radio studios as well as protests and picket lines. She’s shared the stage with such folk luminaries as Catie Curtis, Greg Brown and Holly Near and earned a local reputation as “everyone’s favorite, spirited folkster.” In 2015 Kilgour was chosen as the winner of the LEAF Newsong Contest and took fifth place in the Telluride Troubadour Songwriting Competition. She was also selected as a semifinalist for the Mountain Stage Newsong Contest in 2013 and was a finalist in both the Big Top Chautauqua and Kerrville Music-2-Life songwriting contests before that.
